Crawley Swimming Club is proud to have successfully achieved  'Skill Development' status. is awarded by the Amateur Swimming Association (swimming's governing body), to recognise that the club has achieved a set of standards that shows parents, swimmers, officials and the public that the club is caring and well organised. A number of criteria (each having many components) have been satisfied. These include:- - Swimmer access to a quality programme of coaching and competition;
- Ongoing development of teachers/coaches for the befit of swimmers;
- Effective and efficient administration of the club for the benefit of swimmers. This includes an effective child protection and equality policy and criminal records checks of all involved with swimmers;
- Links with the community and other organisations in order to benefit and develop the club and it's swimming members;
The is an ongoing process and a detailed 'Action Plan' is continually being reviewed and refined to ensure further growth and development of Crawley Swimming Club. |
